Fools curse their lives for being ordinary and repetitive. The truth is that all lives are ordinary and repetitive. And this is a wonderful thing if we learn to use it correctly. Like so much of strategy, we have to see it from the perspective of having fun in improving every day.

Some people think success requires grinding away, day after day, working hard every minute, plotting, doing, planning, drudging, pounding. They think that the difference between success and failure is in how hard they work. These people are wrong. Just like people who are no fun to be around cannot develop rewarding relationships, those who do not find fun in doing what is repeated every day are not going to improve their lives.

Repetitive tasks are a huge opportunity. The only real issue is whether or not we know how to make this stuff fun. If we can make all the boring repetitive things in our lives interesting and entertaining, everything else is just gravy.
